Meet Dr. Teri
Dr. Teri brings over 25 years of veterinary medical, surgical, and behavioral experience to Vet Pet Telehealth. She emphasizes a fear-free, holistic approach to pet care.
As the former owner of four veterinary practices, Dr. Teri found that many pet owners struggle to access care due to travel distance to clinics, cost, and lack of appointments. In talking with fellow clinic veterinarians, many are inundated with more patients than they have the resources to service. She found online veterinary care options restricted to membership models owned by pharmaceutical companies.
Vet Pet Telehealth is a solution for pet owners to access care and a resource for clinic veterinarians. Offering her services online as a licensed veterinarian, Dr. Teri addresses pet owners’ concerns while promoting overall pet wellness. While online care is not a replacement for emergency care, diagnostics, and can’t prescribe medication, telemedicine offers convenience, immediate access, and the same standard of care as in-clinic visits, all from the comfort of your home.

We love Dr. Byrd!!! We have one rescue Great Pyrenees dog and 4 inherited pure bred cats which makes for a busy fur baby household. Dr. Byrd has provided exceptional, excellent care to all of our animals, along with her wonderful staff. In addition, she provides amazing community service by hosting vets during their training. We highly recommend her!
The staff is so good with my skittish cat. They know how to calm her and are knowledgeable and compassionate to the pet and the human. Love this place!
